Apple Cidecar

This is my appreciation post for @allthebitter 🤍
Aside from creating these wonderful bitters that we all love, Ian and Carly are just great human beings. They were the first company who has shown me support. I am honestly a big fan of their products so their support means a lot to me. Thank you, @allthebitter ! Excited to watch your business grow and will continue to support you and cheer for you!

This is their recipe and it was really tasty! It was my first time adding apple cider vinegar to a mocktail and it definitely won’t be the last time.

Here’s an excerpt from their website about this recipe: “Our zero-proof version replaces the cognac with unfiltered apple cider, and adds the bracing acidity of its vinegar cousin to create a balanced drink that’s both tart and sweet.”

Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces unfiltered apple cider
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 ounce orange simple syrup (or NA triple sec) – I used @lyresspiritco Orange Sec
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 full droppers All The Bitter Orange bitters – Discount Code MOCKTAILWIZ10 for 10% off
  • Cinnamon sugar rim
Instructions:
  1. Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a coupe glass, dip in cinnamon sugar and set aside.
  2. Add apple juice, lemon juice, orange simple syrup (recipe below), apple cider vinegar, and orange bitters to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
  3. Strain into prepared sugar-rimmed glass. (Optionally garnish with fresh apple slices.) I garnished mine with an apple crisp.

Cheers 🍹⚡️
