French Kiss

This is probably the most complex-tasting mocktail that I have made so far. It is so good, you would think there’s alcohol in it but there isn’t any! This original recipe draws inspiration from the classic French 75 cocktail but I used grenadine instead of simple syrup. I also just learned about non-alcoholic bitters from allthebitter.com so I got some and I thought that the New Orleans Bitters (comparable to Peychaud’s Bitters) would go well with this drink so I put 3 dashes of it and it worked great! It added hints of cherry and anise! Ritual Zero Proof Gin also provides that heat in the back. I highly encourage you to try this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gin Alternative (I used Ritual Zero Proof Gin)
  • 0.5 oz Grenadine
  • 3 dashes (dropperfuls) of New Orleans Bitters / Peychaud’s Bitters (Got mine from All The Bitter)
  • 2-4 oz Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine (I used Lyre's Classico)

Instructions:

  1. Chill your martini glass
  2. Combine Gin alternative, Grenadine, and New Orleans Bitters in your shaker glass
  3. Shake with ice for 8-10 seconds
  4. Strain into the chilled martini glass
  5. Top with non-alcoholic sparkling wine

Try this recipe and let me know what you think!
Cheers! 🍹⚡️
