Lychee Elderflower Fizz

Lychee is a fruit that is native to Southeast Asia. This fruit is a good source of Vitamin C and Copper. This mocktail uses lychee fruit and lychee syrup (found in most Asian grocery stores), a splash of lime to brighten the flavor, and topped with Elderflower Tonic Water (from Fever Tree). I also used Monday Gin (Monday Gin) and Juniper Syrup to make that gin flavor shine. If the last 2 ingredients are not available in your area, you can just skip the zero-alcohol gin and use regular simple syrup for a refreshing fizzy treat!

Ingredients:

  • 4 pcs lychee fruit (from can), + 1 for garnish
  • 1.5 oz lychee syrup (from can)
  • 0.5 oz juniper syrup or simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • 7-10 mint leaves
  • 1.5 oz zero-alcohol gin (optional)
  • Elderflower Tonic Water

Instructions:

  1. Combine lychee, lychee syrup, juniper syrup, lime juice, and mint leaves in a shaker glass
  2. Muddle all ingredients
  3. Add zero-alcohol gin (if using)
  4. Pour mixture to a shaker full of ice
  5. Shake
  6. Strain into a lowball glass filled with ice
  7. Top with Elderflower Tonic Water
  8. Garnish with a lychee and a mint sprig
