Non-Alcoholic Negroni

Negroni is probably my favorite drink when I was still drinking. I didn’t know that it would be possible to re-create this as a non-alcoholic drink given that it is just pure alcohol. However, we are fortunate that we live in a time where there are non-alcoholic versions of some of our favorite spirits! The ingredients can be hard to find but if these are available in your area, you would be surprised at how close it tastes to the real thing.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz non-alcoholic gin (I used Monday Gin)
  • 1.5 oz Italian Aperitif (I used Lyres)
  • 1.5 oz Italian red bitter soda (I got mine from Amazon)

Instructions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass
  2. Add two scoops of ice
  3. With a bar spoon, mix in a circular motion until the outside of the mixing glass starts becoming moist
  4. Strain into a rocks glass with one big piece of ice
  5. Garnish with an orange peel
