Zero-Proof Regal Daiquiri

This is a zero-proof version of the classic Daiquiri, but make it regal. The regal hack adds a citrus peel into the shaker (grapefruit peel or orange peel). This will infuse a little bit of bitterness and a little bit of the citrus oil from the peel into the drink that adds to the overall flavor.

Ingredients:

• 1 oz lime juice
• 1 oz demerara syrup (made from equal parts water and demerara sugar)
• 2 oz rum alternative (I used Ritual Zero Proof Rum Alternative)

Instructions:

1. In your shaker glass, add lime juice, demerara syrup, rum alternative, and orange peel
2. Shake vigorously with a lot of ice until mixture is thoroughly chilled
3. Strain into a nick & nora glass
4. Garnish with a lime wheel
